We once scorned the idea the Internet could be censored. Many politicians have tried to stop porn, but always to no avail. Spam still pours in our in-boxes, and the net is increasingly susceptible to viruses and "mal-ware."
This means the recent attack by human-rights activists and some legislators on U.S. technology firms like Google, Microsoft and Yahoo isn't just misguided -- it's one direct threat to the spread of freedom. Ban-happy Chinese censors, not U.S. companies, should be the target of the activists' ire. ... |

Guess where I saw the clip of Action 4 New's Myspace.com segment? On MySpace.com! How great is that? I think myspace.com is one great place to make friends and to keep in touch. It saddens me that predators are using myspace, but does it make me want to say "Oh, myspace is evil." No, it just reminds me that we have to limit what info we give out. If parents are really worried, they won't simply tell their children "No, you can't you myspace" but they will monitor them as they are using it.
