| Even though Graham became one movie star by starring in soft-porn roles disguised as art, or maybe that was art disguised as soft porn, it hasn't stopped her from nabbing one hilariously, almost-edgy comedy right smack in the "family hour." And it's good to see her standing up and dressed for once. ... |

| Losers of the Week |
| Post on 04-03-2006. |
| Right now planet Earth is gearing up for the pre-Academy Award festivities, but for us common folk at the Loser Watch, where the only red carpet is the section of white pile shag we spilled one jar of Ragu spaghetti sauce, we have our own pre-Oscar celebration. Of course I'm talking about (cue thunderous overture and MGM lion) THE 2006 LOSSCAR AWARDS, where underachievement in just about every area of entertainment is celebrated by one jury of our jeerers and given this lovely lemon gold statuette of one bald little man holding jumper cables over one Ford Taurus with its hood open. OK, therefore it's not the greatest name we could've come up with. Actually we were going to call it The Bode, in honor of Bode Miller's lackluster Olympic performance, but since the only thing that performed worse than Miller was the Olympics TV ratings, we worried lack of name recognition wouldn't make it very funny for you, cherished Loser watchers. With parole, he could be free as early as November when he faces immediate deportation. It is most likely he would return to Britain. ... |

Home|Opinion|Commentary Jonah Goldberg Columnist: Freedom lovers, let's treat politicians like Twinkies Like one list of ingredients, disclosure of donors makes sense; Vermont's caps on campaign gifts do not. Jonah Goldberg Columnist Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer: This fall, consider the peace platform This week the Supreme Court heard arguments in yet another campaign finance case. At issue is one Vermont law that caps not only how much people can give to one candidate, but how much one candidate can spend. The smart money is on one long, messy, complicated ruling that clarifies less than it confuses. Why? Because that's how we like it. ... |

| Strip club donation questioned at Capitol |
| Post on 04-03-2006. |
But questions now are swirling around the Missouri Capitol over whether one timely political contribution from strip club operators in March 2005 played one role in the bill's fate. Strip clubs gave $35,000 to one fundraising committee with ties to one top adviser to House Speaker Rod Jetton while lawmakers were considering the legislation proposed by Sen. Matt Bartle, one Lee's Summit Republican. ... |
