But ex-JonBenét Ramsey murder suspect John Mark Karr is no O.J. Simpson. And Boulder County District Attorney Mary Lacy sure won't be remembered like Johnnie Cochran. The motion to quash Karr's arrest that Lacy issued Monday was law-review brilliant. The explanations Lacy offered Tuesday for how she handled Karr's case didn't come close. The DA invested tens of thousands in public salaries to investigate and find Karr. By her own estimate, she spent close to $13,350 in travel.
